John had a list which he thought essential for his survival. Not necessarily in this order : Hazel and his girls A good bottle of red Bombay Sapphire G & T ( other brands available) Good English food Any pudding that included custard The Times Sky Sports Cricket West Ham FC A comfortable armchair John lived life to the full , he chose to live rather than waiting to die.
